To encourage alumni to actively embody the school motto, inherit SUFE's culture, recognize their achievements, inspire them to contribute more to the country, society, and their alma mater, and motivate both alumni and current students to learn from exemplars and strive for excellence, SUFE has established the Outstanding Alumni Award as its highest honor for alumni.
Through democratic nomination, summary review, election by the selection committee, and approval by the President's Office, nine candidates (listed in alphabetical order by surname strokes) have been selected for the Second Outstanding Alumni Award: Wang Lanfeng, Wang Minwen, Lu Shengdao, Wu Qing, Gu Shu, Wu Fei, Jin Wenzhong, He Xianhan, and Mei Rukai.
According to the selection criteria, the candidates are now publicly announced. The announcement period is from November 1, 2022, to November 5, 2022. Wang Lanfeng
2007 EMBA graduate, SUFE Board Member, currently Party Secretary and Chairman of Suzhou Bank. With over 30 years in finance, she has received honors such as the National May Day Labor Medal and the National "Outstanding Women" award from the All-China Women's Federation, and ranked 56th on the 2019 Forbes China's "Most Outstanding Businesswomen" list. She has long supported SUFE's educational development.
Wang Minwen
1988 graduate in Infrastructure Finance and Credit, SUFE Board Member, currently Chairman of Xianhe Holding Group and Hangzhou Lion Microelectronics. Dedicated to serving national development strategies, he has founded two A-share listed companies, showcasing "Made in China" to the world. He supports SUFE's education.
Lu Shengdao
1958 Accounting graduate. Former Deputy Secretary of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the 7th Qinghai Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Anhui Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee. He responded to the party's and country's call, spending 35 years supporting border construction in Golmud, Qinghai.
Wu Qing
1987 Fiscal Studies graduate. Currently Member of the Shanghai Municipal Standing Committee, Executive Vice Mayor, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Government Party Leadership Group, and Director of the Municipal Military-Civilian Integration Development Committee Office. He has contributed significantly to national financial sectors and regional economic development.
Gu Shu
1998 Accounting PhD graduate. Currently Chairman and Party Secretary of Agricultural Bank of China. Previously served in various roles at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, including Vice Chairman, President, and more. He has received numerous national awards and honors.
Wu Fei
1994 Finance graduate, 1999 Finance Master's graduate, SUFE Board Member. Founder and Chairman of Shanghai Daode Investment. Focused on the carbon neutrality sector, he aligns investments with global trends and national strategies, adhering to principles of benefiting the country, people, and society. He supports SUFE's education.
Jin Wenzhong
1985 Statistics graduate, 1988 Statistics Master's graduate, SUFE Board Member. Currently Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Orient Securities. With over 30 years in capital markets, he has led Orient Securities to provide excellent wealth management services and promote high-quality development of the real economy. He supports SUFE's education.
He Xianhan
1986 graduate in Infrastructure Finance and Credit, SUFE Board Member. Currently President of Japan Ferro-Fluid Techniques Corporation, Chairman and CEO of Ferrotec (China), and Chairman of over 30 companies including Hangzhou Zhongxin Semiconductor. He adheres to the principle of serving the country through industry and has received numerous honors. He supports SUFE's education.
Mei Rukai
1949 Cooperative Studies graduate. A renowned writer and translator, he has served in various literary and cultural positions. With a revolutionary background since July 1949, he has authored numerous short stories, essays, and literary papers, and translated over 6 million words of works. He has received honors from the Polish government and Jiangsu Province.
