On the morning of September 17th, the opening ceremony for the 2022 freshmen of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the first ideological and political course for the secretary were held. As Shanghai University of Finance and Economics marks its 105th anniversary, 5,074 vibrant and ambitious new members of the university have begun a new chapter in their lives. Meanwhile, Wu Fei, Chairman of DDI, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech as a former student and teacher of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and currently a member of the school's board of trustees.

Embrace the future with diligence and steadfastness, and aim high to serve the times. Mr. Wu Fei, a member of the Board of Trustees of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, a 1994 undergraduate graduate in finance, a 1999 graduate in finance, and currently the founder and chairman of Shanghai Daode Investment Management Partnership Enterprise Limited Partnership, as well as the chairman of JinenU Solar, mentioned in his speech that he hopes that the students will continue to be diligent, maintain curiosity, choose kindness, adhere to integrity, give first and care less, and become a person with a sense of mission and feelings at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He said that the current era is in a "great change unseen in a century", and that only by studying hard, improving knowledge reserves, constantly expanding international horizons, and enhancing leadership can we help students move towards a bigger stage and have a broader future. At the same time, SUFE people should bear in mind the school motto, aim high, have a sense of purpose and mission, become people of value to society, and demonstrate economic responsibility.

"After graduating from the School of Finance, I stayed on as a teacher and then joined the securities industry. So I am both an investor, doing private equity funds, and a entrepreneur, starting a business for eight years. We chose the new energy track, seeing the replacement of traditional energy by solar energy and the replacement of fuel vehicles by new energy vehicles. We believe that these are the two energy revolutions in the future. We have been focused on one track for the past eight years and have come to this point. We believe that President Xi's dual carbon goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality will be achieved; we will develop harmoniously with the world and the earth. So my requirement for myself is to be able to make a contribution to society, benefit the earth, and protect the environment." Wu Fei told the story of his entrepreneurial journey at the ceremony and wished all the new students of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics: "The distance is not far, the future is coming. I wish you can spend a wonderful university time and achieve success in your studies."
